Fountain Allalantes
The Fountain of Allalantes is one of the oldest in the town of Villanueva de Tapia. Situated at the confluence of Constitution Avenue and Paseo de la Alameda, it was the primary source of water supply of the town, built in the early eighteenth century.
To mark the fourth centenary of the founding of Villanueva de Tapia in 1603, the fountain was restored preserving the original materials with which it was constructed, placed a plaque which reads: "The first to be built to supply water to the residents of this town. In 1795, a flood destroyed the bridge leading to it, repairing it Juan Garcia, masonry master".
