Punta Chullera, Manilva (Unique Site)
Recommended month to visit it: August.
In the southwestern end of the province of Málaga, Manilva, which gives way to the Campo de Gibraltar, is, like many others of the area, a municipality with double personality: the agricultural and tourist, the Manilva of the interior – dedicated to the grape – and the Manilva of beach and sun.
Our destination is Punta Chullera. To get there, we will first leave our vehicle in the residential area of the same name and then cross a tall bridge until we get to a long beach of transparent waters which we have already named: Punta Chullera. This beach, with its inlets and small cliffs, forms a small rocky cape of great ecological value and scenic interest. In its western end we will find the ruins of an old watchtower from the Nasrid era. It is a beach not only made for swimming.
