It is in the middle of the countryside, very close to Fuente de Piedra Lagoon.

From this kind of terrace above the Lagoon of Cantarranas, you can contemplate varied landscapes. The view embraces olive grove and crops on unirrigated land mixed with Mediterranean scrubland that includes holm oak, gorse or Purple Phlomis and Pistacia Lentiscus, and wetlands full of life. We recommend visiting this spot in winter evenings in order to see cranes coming. Moreover the lagoon is famous for flamingos colony.

Besides this species, you can observe:  common cranes (Grus grus), common shelducks (Tadorna tadorna), ruffs (Philomachus pugnax), pied avocets (Recurvirostra avosetta), gull-billed terns (Gelochelidon nilotica), etc.
