Saucillo Pass Natural Viewpoint
This viewpoint is placed in one of the most dense areas of the Spanish fir, an emblematic species in the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park. Many scholars and travellers showed their interest in protection of this particular species. Botanists, such as Dossier (1883) or Ceballos y Bolañoz (1931) fought for the protection of this species.
The viewpoint offers a perfect sweeping view of the Prieta and Quebrilla Mountains, a big part of the above mentioned park and the biosphere reserve, Málaga's plain, the Guadalhorce, and even the Sierra Nevada and the Maroma.
