Fuente de la Salud
Fuente de la Salud beach is in the district of Benalmádena, between the Marina and Torremolinos. A perfect place for water sports and for looking at the eye-catching sand sculptures created by street artists.
It is 150 metres long and approximately 80 metres wide and is one of the busiest beaches in the area. The swell is moderate and the beach is covered in fine sand.
Although not particularly large, the beach is popular thanks to its sailing club and the number of different water sports on offer there. Along the promenade it is usually possible to see street artists exhibiting their impressive sand sculptures.
The receipt of the Blue Flag Award in 2021 makes it a beach of unquestionable quality. The criteria for the award are divided into four categories: environmental education and information, water quality, environmental management, safety and services.
