The Chilches beach is located in the town of Vélez-Málaga, capital of the district of Axarquía and situated in the oriental area of the province of Malaga.

A beach covered by willows, with a length of 1,361 meters and a width of only 10 meters. It has a half black sand and has three sections, La Estación (Station), Puerta de Hierro (Iron Gate) and El Cañuelo.

Most of beach users come from urbanizations near the coast, so the atmosphere is very familiar and quiet. It is only 18 kilometres from the capital of the Malaga province, so a trip to this beach is highly recommended.

In the district of Chilches, there is a wide range of supply in the rural tourism, which is completed with the enjoyment of the beach combining the rustic with the sailing.

HOW TO GET THERE

From Málaga, we can reach there through the highway of Mediterráneo A-7 in direction Motril-Almería in car until the exit 258. We must continue through N-340 until we reach our destination.

From Vélez-Málaga, we take the Highway of Mediterráneo A-7 in direction Málaga to take the exit 258. We will continue through N-340 until we reach our destination.
