Beaches

Playa el Cañuelo, a beach at Nerja, is the last beach of the Malaga municipality, on the border of the province between Granada and Malaga. It is located in the natural landscape of the Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo,Cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, with steep amazing cliffs.

It's a secluded, rustic beach surrounded by a natural environment of great beauty. It is not of easy access, but this adds to its charm, it is a secret secluded little known beach with a perfect climate.

The Cañuelo is a cove of sand and gravel, its crystalline transparent waters are ideal for snorkelling and diving without any problems, so do not forget your diving equipment and discover the wonderful marine fauna of this area. You can find orange coral, a species listed as in danger of extinction.

A perfect beach to relax on a sunny day, considered one of the quietest places on the Malaga coast. Even in winter it is one of the places chosen to hide from the world.
