La Galera beach is in Estepona, close to Bahía Dorada beach.

The beach is 2 kilometres long and 30 metres wide, making it a spacious beach. As it is in a semi-urban zone, it tends to get fairly busy. Covered with dark sand, it has rocky areas making our swimming trip even more natural, and providing a landscape worth photographing.

Summer in Estepona is very popular with tourists thanks to the mild temperatures which do not rise too high. The perfect place for both national and international visitors.

HOW TO GET THERE

An hour's drive from Malaga city centre, to get to this beach take the A-7 motorway towards Marbella, crossing it and other towns including Fuengirola. Leave the A-7 at junction 153 and continue until Buenas Noches. The road passes through the resort and this is where the beach is to be found.

To reach La Galera Beach from Estepona just take the A-7 highway and continue until you reach Buenas Noches. You will be lying on the sand in less than fifteen minutes.
