The Pijil-Lagos beach is located in the enclave of Lagos, between the towns of Algarrobo and Torrox. This is a semi-urban beach gravel and with moderate waves. It has more than one kilometre long stretch known as Pijil. Despite being a beach with little development around, it has an average occupancy.
Along with another stretch called San Daniel, it adds up to a total length of 3,149 meters and a variable width although generally low, between 10 and 50 meters.
It has a playground for children up to 12 years where they can have a wonderful time surrounded by sand.
In the first week of August, the fair of the town of Lagos is held, which lasts for three days and has the Malaga gastronomy as the core of all its festivities. On Saturday, a brochette of sardine is offered to all visitors and on Sunday, paella is offered.
With the end of the summer in September, there is a night focused on Las Candelarias where woods are grouped to form a mountain which is subsequently burnt by the fire dance.
