Carabeo Beach in Nerja is located between Calahonda Beach and Carabeíllo Chico Beach.
It is a small beach, only accessible by stairway below Carabeo street, known as the Mirador del Bendito. It can also be accessed from the famous Playa de Burriana. Just a few minutes from the Balcony of Europe or Balcón de Europa, it is a very popular beach, although less so than other nearer and more famous beaches.
At the end of a day by the sea you can watch the sunset form a bench at the Mirador del Bendito and watch the crystalline waters merge into the horizon. Or walk to the Balcón de Europa for a panoramic view of the Nerja coastline.
It is surrounded by enormous rocks that protect its intimacy and give it an air of savage enchantment.
