Mirador de Los Pozuelos, Sedella (Unique Site)
Recommended month to visit it: February.
Sedella, to the Northeast of the Axarquía, is the most appropriate place to discover the charms of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park and the role it plays inside the Red de Espacios Naturales de Andalucía [Network of Natural Spaces of Andalusia]. Its information centre familiarizes the visitor with some of the details regarding the wildlife of the park and its different landscapes, from the lowlands to the constantly windswept summits.
It also counts with an overlook that offers an extraordinary panoramic view of the surroundings of Sedella. The steep mountainsides of Sierra Tejeda connect with the cliffs that separate the hills of La Fuente and Cuascuadra, to descend across rocky places to the outskirts of the town.
