Beaches

Araña Beach is on the eastern shores of the Malaga coast, lying between La Fábrica de Cemento and Totalán beaches.

La Araña district is the easternmost district of Malaga, a typical fishermen's quarter where they continue fishing today, and it is not uncommon to encounter fishing boats and tackle in the area. It is also home to one of the most important prehistoric archaeological legacies of Andalusia, and it is possible to see caves and shelters inhabited 300,000 years ago.

The exceptional geographical setting, a mild climate and the wealth of terrestrial and maritime resources, made this the ideal place to settle. The archaeological complex is called the Malaga Prehistoric Park and is a visit that should not be missed when in the area.

The semi-urban beach, covered in golden sand, is 400 metres long and approximately 25 metres wide and usually has a moderate tidal swell.

In the summer season, there are many rental services available including nautical equipment, pedal boats, etc.
