Beaches

Located in Casares, Ancha Beach is a gem on the Costa del Sol. This is a very beautiful beach, 1300 metres long and 50 metres wide. The sea here is suitable for swimming and is usually very calm. The Blue Flag 2021 fluttering on the shore is well-deserved as the beach is extremely well-cared for.

Ancha Beach is divided into three different sections:

First, we have La Sal Beach, measuring 20 metres located between Torre de la Sal and the limits of the beach which are defined by a lush green headland.

Playa Chica runs from the access by car from the N-340 up to La Parrilla Stream. The width of this beach ranges from 20 to 50 m.

Lastly, we have Ancha Beach, a long stretch of sand between La Parrilla Stream and the river Manilva. The river marks the limit with the nearby town of Manilva. The beach, closely overlooked by a number of residential complexes and homes with swimming pools, is close to La Duquesa Marina and the fishing village of Sabinillas.
