The Benajarafe beach is located in the town of the same name, Benajarafe, the eastern coast of Malaga. It belongs to the town of Velez Malaga, located in the heart of the Axarquia region. It is located 12 kilometres from the town of Velez-Malaga and 20 kilometers from the provincial capital. It is a dark sand beach and forming a long strip along with the Valle Niza. It has 1,600 meters long and 30 meters wide.
Moderate waves and an average occupancy, is a perfect beach to enjoy entertainment options in the nearby urban areas of the beach.
The various services available at the beach make it get awarded the Blue Flag in recent years.
As a leisure option, around this beach, we have Ruta de la pasa, which runs through several towns that have a set of vineyards and raisin beds where the grapes are dried in the sun. The exceptional climate of the Costa del Sol favors the production of special grapes and this is where the celebrations of the famous festivals of Verdiales occur.

From Málaga, take the highway of Mediterráneo A-7 in direction Motril-Almería. Take the exit 258 towards Chilches/Benajarafe and continue through N-340 until reaching this magnificent beach.
From Vélez Málaga, take A-7 in direction Málaga. Take the exit 258 towards Chilches/Benajarafe and continue through N-340 until you reach the beach.
