Mirador del Coloraillo, Sierra de las Nieves (Unique Site)
Recommended month to visit it: February.
We are in at a mystical site, almost supernatural, where the souls of the fallen Spanish firs watch over their descendants.
In the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, from the Refugio de los Quejigales in the direction of the Torrecilla, we ascend through the Cañada de las Ánimas you find a natural balcony called Los Coloraíllos, famous for its magnificent views of the northern part of the Park and its extension towards Sierra Blanquilla and Sierra Hidalga, of the Peñón de Ronda to the Northeast and the Tajo del Canalizo and the Tajo de los Enamorados to the East.
During the ascent through the ravine we will see magnificent specimens of Spanish firs, each of them with their own unique shapes, up to the point that someone once defined this place as “the chaotic forest”.
