Rural Complex "La Molineta" (Distinguished Establishments)
The Molineta of Guaro is a small rural complex of about ten acres facing the impressive Rio Grande Valley, in the Sierra de las Nieves, and located between the towns of Coin, Tolox and Guaro. The first phase of the resort was opened in October 2006.
All houses have their own identity and personality with evocative names of muslim traditions or the orchards of the same complex as The Jona, Sotornil, Ardite or Mocabe. All houses include a backyard.
The complex has a pool bar and two buildings dedicated to exhibitions, one called the "casita" (small house) of the miller (a building that recreates everyday life in these gardens of mid-nineteenth century), and another one a hydraulic wheat mill from the Nazarí period (fifteenth century), totally restored.
Besides, there is a recreation area adjacent to houses just as a viewpoint, from which visitors can admire the beauty of the mountain landscape or visits the orchards (the orange, mandarin, lemon, pomegranate and fig trees), irrigated with the arabic system of ditches.
