This establishment has incredible views of the Sierra de las Nieves and valley Guadalhorce. The architecture is similar to a typical Andalusian hacienda with patio, white walls and large rooms.

CHARACTERISTICS

The Cerro Hijar´s cuisine combines tradition and innovation, creating an original gastronomy. Nevertheless, they also offer dishes for children.

We recommend some starters from their first-rate menu such as cabbage stew with prawns and curry or smoked squid soup. We highlight some fish main courses like oven-baked sea bass with aubergine, caviar and tapenade or turbot with pumpkin, pistachio, broad beans and basil oil purêe. Meat dishes include: Iberian caramelized pork cheek, and partridge with lentils and spring onions.

Furthermore, there is a good choice of wines from their small but top quality cellar.

LOCATION

The restaurant is placed in the Cerro (Mountain) de Hijar in Tolox, in the Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park, in the Biosfera Nature Reserve.
