Los Mizos Mill Museum, Casarabonela

It is an ancient oil mill that has been preserved in almost perfect condition. This mill aimed at obtaining olive oil, first for animal traction and later on by mechanical traction, and flour, using the force provided by a waterfall. This construction dates back several centuries. The oil mill was in use up to the 1960’s. The museum has a small collection of tools related to farming. Outside, next to the front door, is installed an interpretive panel.
